Ok, how’s about the coolest post we’ve ever made. And quite possibly the coolest post made on any blog, ever! Here for posterity and for disco fans around the world, is an immaculate recording from the 2nd anniversary of the Paradise Garage in 1979.

We have saved these as three different parts.. (intro) is an hour long discussion about how the recording came to being with the details of how Lenny Fontana recorded a live radio broadcast on his father’s reel to reel machine, and then transferred it to DAT in the early 1990’s.
